Three generations of dentists have cared for Midtown families from this practice. The names on the door have changed over the decades. The promise has not: unhurried, honest dentistry for the people of Palo Alto.
Our story
I1958 · First generation
Dr. Dale Callahan and Dr. Stuart Mitchell open the practice in Midtown Palo Alto and begin caring for the families of a fast growing city.
IISecond generation
Dr. James “Jim” Stephens and Dr. Susan “Susie” Park take up the practice and carry it forward for a new generation of Palo Alto patients.
III2018 · Third generation
Dr. Shawn Sharma, a Palo Alto native, takes over the practice. Today he and a team of ten care for children, parents and grandparents with the same commitment that began in 1958.
Our mark
Our mark is drawn from El Palo Alto, the redwood that gave our city its name. The tree has stood beside San Francisquito Creek for more than a thousand years. We think of the practice the same way: a steady presence that families can count on for decades.
