As a pharmacy major in college, I realized that while I wanted to work in healthcare I wanted to have more opportunity for direct patient care. I like doing the dentistry but enjoy helping people more. Dentistry is a very exacting and detailed profession. I enjoy doing the restorative care but my daily interaction with my patients is what makes this job so rewarding. Dr. Stephens and I have three children all pursuing careers, one in engineering and two in healthcare. We also enjoy spending time with our two furry family members, Luci and Finn, our Australian Shepherds. We have recently added a third generation to the family with a beautiful granddaughter. When I am not at work I love to cook for friends and family. When away from home I like to hike, ski and kayak on the trails and lakes around Lake Tahoe.
